Only drove the car 7 or 8 days of the 14 day plate because dealer had it, then gave me the wrong receiver on the trailer hitch, then took it back, for an exhaust system. Good thing you filled car with gas when you sold to me, because you used half of it in getting the car back to put new exhaust on. Also had car more than the day it was planned, and cost me having to drive with old car to Orono from Readfield. Then had to do it again, and couldn't stay in Orono for the night. Overall, experience was ok, but last 10 percent is what you have to work on. ★★★

According to TrueCar® TV commercials, the consumer requests a price from their software and when a price is settled with a local dealer the consumer prints a price certificate to bring into the dealership. The participating TrueCar® dealership should honor the negotiated price according to the commercials, which you can watch below.
Consumers who purchase a car through this service are not charged a fee. TrueCar® will collect a fee from the dealer selling the car. Current, dealers are charged $299 per new car sold and potentially higher commission for used car sales.
